The Teacher Onboarding Agent is the pitch.
I could tell you I'm organized, detail-oriented, and good at translating complexity into something a new person can pick up fast. Or you could look at what I built and see it. Here's what this one project actually demonstrates.
I automate the thing I used to do by hand.
I manually onboarded 13 teachers onto a new math program — answering the same questions about pacing, the platform, and the first week, one person at a time. Instead of writing that up as a static PDF, I built a tool that asks two questions and generates the right guide on the spot.
Evidence: the Standards picker generates grade + subject-specific pacing instead of one generic document for every teacher.
I ship without waiting for an engineering team.
No framework, no build step, no backend, no API key. Plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that runs by opening a file in a browser. If a tool needs to exist and no one's going to build it for me, I'll build it myself and keep it simple enough to maintain alone.
Evidence: the whole app is four files, and it's the same four files whether you open it locally or load it from this website.
I get the content right, not just the interface.
The standards links aren't placeholders — they route to the real Common Core, NGSS, and Virginia SOL pages for the specific grade and domain selected. The Atlas section describes Atlas's actual published feature set, condensed, not invented. When I don't know something precisely, I say so instead of guessing.
Evidence: the app's own documentation flags exactly which content was spot-checked against live sources and where standards may have since been revised.
I design for the person's actual first week, not an org chart.
A new teacher doesn't need everything at once — they need attendance today and Atlas curriculum maps by week three. Every path in this tool exists because it maps to a real, sequenced anxiety a new hire has, which is the same lens I'd bring to onboarding a new customer or employee into any product.
Evidence: the Veracross section links straight to the exact official how-to for each task — attendance, grades, conferences — instead of one long manual nobody reads start to finish.

This guide is a first draft, on purpose. It says so, and it tells the teacher to confirm pacing against the official curriculum map in Atlas. I'd rather ship something honest about its limits than something that quietly overpromises.
